The Haad Tien beach resort is at Thien-Org Bay (Shark Bay) which lies on the southeast corner of Koh Tao. Hence it is sheltered from the prevailing winds that can adversely affect the weather on the other side of the island. The resort is approximately fifteen minutes ride by taxi car from the ferry port of Mae Haad or twenty-five minutes by taxi boat.

The easiest, quickest and most comfortable route to get to Koh Tao is via Koh Samui.
Bangkok Airways have scheduled services departing from Bangkok, Chiangmai, Krabi, Phuket, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to Koh Samui.
Thai Airways International (Thailand’s national carrier) also have twice daily flights from Bangkok to Samui
